January - big thaw!

I just got back from a trip down south on January 8th and I can't believe how warm it is now. The long range forecast for our area is calling for temperatures above 0 for at least the next 8 days. This is going to screw up ice fishing big time.
I can't say that I'm a big fan of this wet and messy weather.

Be glad you didn't buy 3 OFSC snowmobile trail passes like my poor neighbour, and so many other people ! (Ok not really poor, but $600-$700 on passes is a lot of money to most of us)

lots of industries struggle but some do better, I work in construction, we are getting more done than expected and our guys are getting full weeks
