Thanks winter9. Pm me if you ever want more detailed info. Hey Macky do not worry. There are spots on the main lake and a few other areas that are not great but we have had ice for 5 to 6 weeks on our end of the lake so we have 7 to 12inches of good safe ice and some slush that is draining now. .( we have large ice road pumps so we also flood our hut spots to thicken the ice to keep the slush away) We have put our trail mainly tight to shore but our trail has the same 7 to 12 inches. Yesterday our trail was in the best shape of the season. With the cooler weather beginning in a few days and some cold weather by this weekend ice conditions should be very good when you come. Pm me if you have any questions or need a update. It will be colder when you are here. Should be good for fishing.

The lake has tightened up really good and conditions are finally starting to improve. Top of the slush has froze up and we can now travel on top of the slush. Have put our trail in down the centre of the lake from the hub finally. Still a few bad spots on the lake so be careful but improving every day as the water in the lake has finally cooled under the ice. Should get better each day now with the colder weather we finally have coming

They had a good trip. Lots of lakers. Caught some good size ling and many. Wolves stole a couple of there ling at night from under there feet. They said the Ciscos were on fire. They did well on our one of our back lakes and caught some big walleye ( for a small lake) and got some meals. They finally got into the whitefish on there third day here and did ok. They also caught some walleye in front of the resort. They did most of there fishing at two of our hut and outside them as the fish were on. They worked hard for the 4 days they were here. They deserved everything they caught. More groups in this weekend. Our weather is finally stable so the good fishing should continue.

Forgot to mention they also got some pike in one of our back lake and they got spooled in one of the deep hut. Think they may have lost a big one in the back lake too but not sure. Just got there final report now before they left.

The lake has improved drastically. The worst spot we found had 6 inches of ice. We are hauling 2000 pounds of materials each trip down 12 km on our ice road with no issues or break throughs by trailer and sled. We will start flooding the 6 inch spot on our road and should be driving on our road in a week. There is a few inches of snow on the ice with a few drifts. Lots of colder weather here for a while. Good travelling conditions now.

No not yet. We have a few hundred feet of ice that froze last. There is only 6 inches there. We will be flooding it in the next few days so hopefully the road will be ready soon. They are driving on the road to bear island.
