    Default First hunt with Tilly

So Tilly has been home for a month now so I figured it was time for us to do a hunt. We went to Creekhaven Farm which is where she was started by Pro trainer Spencer Ray. I couldn't be happier with how it went. She has a beautiful stylish and solid point, casts beautifully and already retrieves to hand without even being recalled in. This pup who will turn 1 yr old next week already hunts as well as many middle aged hunting dogs. She has imbedded herself into our family big time and is an amazing little girl. If anybody is looking at getting a bird dog I would highly recommend you have a pro start it or assist you, it will lay the foundations properly and you will reap the benefits for years. I Love this pup.
I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

Terry my brother has the sibling to your dog and Im amazed how mature these pups are.Tons of drive ,great noses and of course as you stated foundation training from Spencer Ray.
He also runs a hunting preserve along side his training facility .
I hunted with his setter in Saskatewuan and watched the dog bite a porcupine. As i rushed him to the truck he continued to hunt as we worked our way back.
    Know that's a bird dog !!

It's all in the breeding and a great start. So glad you are happy Terry.

Excellent news Terry. I am happy for you.
My attitude towards you depends upon how you have treated me.
