Thinking of going up with the kids. Any whitefish luck lately?
Should I take a sled or four wheeler or just drive the truck?
Or is there too much snow and slush for truck driving or not enough ice this year

There is 20 to 24 inches of ice and no snow. We are driving our trucks and tractor everywhere. No slush. Fishing was pretty slow for the last week. Saw a few whitefish caught but the whitefish fishing was pretty good this season better then the last few years.

Lake trout and walleye are open until this Sunday at midnight. Ling and whitefish are open year round.
