Land Use Permits/ crown land/ hunt camps
The MNRF is using aerial photos and GPS information to review your LUP. After 41 years they have decided our camp encroaches on the " Shoreline road Allowance". Our LUP has been activate since 1911.
Heads up, everyone will have to approach your township council to get an exception, licence agreement to renew your LUP.
Or another option is to consider moving your camp, 100 feet from the edge of the shoreline allowance. The township in our area is starting the process. they have to hire a lawyer to draw up agreements with the camps.
Do an internet search, this is one example. https://melaniehevesi.com/should-i-p...horeline-road/

I,am thinking the Algonquin Land claim might be a much bigger issue for camps generally. But the trend seems to be against renewing LUP these days.

It sucks but it is not yours, it is a lease.
I hear the same thing about people losing hunting permission, it sucks but if you want to have permission forever you need to buy the land.
