Trudeau: We have a problem with Islamophobia in Canada
    http://www.ctvnews.ca/politics/trude...r&_gsc=azZSDfL
Trudeau, speaking in the House of Commons Wednesday during the “Daughters of the Vote” event in support of International Women’s Day, was responding to a Muslim delegate who encouraged Canadian leaders to condemn Islamophobia.

I know enough about Islam and it's history and texts and it's views and how accommodation isn't enough in Peel region, how Omar Alghabra has openly said he wants Sharia in Canada etc. that this is my only comment and hopefully this one won't get deleted too.

Fact- You have all been duped, suckered and controlled by this government and the media has played right along. Of course they have to sell papers and have something to make you watch the news for advertising.
You should speak for yourself only. I have not been duped, suckered, or controlled. On the contrary. I am well aware of the Carbon Tax.

I don't know about you, but I find it critical to know how our right to free speech is being dwindled away, how politicians could dare to overwrite the Charter of Rights and Freedoms. But hey, let's be more concerned about the tax and hand wave away this motion as if it was nothing. I know you think this is distraction politics, and you may very well be right. However, I do not want to wake up one day and this is an actual bill because the Liberals were sneaky and snuck this in. We can and should want to stop them on all fronts where it is due.

And yes, the damned Carbon Tax. As if we weren't taxed enough. But what can we do about it? How do we go about giving the Liberals a real scare and do a kind of no confidence thing and put their power in jeopardy? Answer me that, please, and yes, I am asking seriously. How do we go about taking them out of power civilly? Or, how do we go about, as citizens, putting a stop to their Carbon Tax bill? Other than a petition, which we know will not work. In other words, what haven't we tried recently as Canadians that would actually work to put a stop to Carbon Tax as well as M103? Nothing in my recent memory tells me anything other than we are screwed with a majority gov't.

I believe this is a distraction. I think most Canadians are accommodating of people's various religious views, political opinions, etc. If they create a specific law on hate speech/crimes towards Islam, then the same can/should be done for every specific religious perspective or political point of view out there. I do not believe that is an efficient use of parliament's time. They should simply review the existing laws and determine if the laws would cover such a situation of hateful action against any specific religion.

Most are .... the problem is those in government and those that won't accept the current freedoms and want restrictions and to add restrictions and to silence people. Just listen to how they treated Tommy Robinson in the UK.... look at the difference in treatment even here, a Chinese girl is killed ...seems to be mostly silence from the politicians .... a hoax about an Asian (Chinese) man cutting a girls hijab and rants and screams.... you have advocates for terrorists in parliament like Omar Alghabra that has called for sharia law here.... the LIEbrals are creating more and more divisions, special treatments, flooding in as many new immigrants as they can, taking off ID requirements to vote .... remember in the 1930's the National Socialist party didn't get in with a majority of the votes EVER..... just to be exact ... I ASSUME this is one of the few things you can trust Wiki to have right ... 1933 election.
National Socialist Percentage 43.91% Social Democrat 18.25% Communist 12.32%
    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/German...on,_March_1933

With a majority they can do what ever they want once elected, we have no recall, no number of petitions etc will have any effect on them... it would just take a few changes of laws and the 4 year election becomes 40.... think the ethics violating entitled Libs atleast some of them haven't thought of doing it? Like Wynne we will see them trying to buy the election with as many promises as they can with no regard for the future .... all politicians make promises true... but with Hudak we saw what happens if they tell the truth about trying to make it better. We have judges that would side with them too... look at what Ford is having to do when even the judge that ruled against the change in Toronto admitted he had the power and right....

Is this their way of trying to gain the status of the admired tyrants like Castro or Chinese dictatorship and unrestricted power .... perhaps, they sure seem to be throwing NAFTA under the steam roller to say they are fighting against Trump to bait the uninformed and CBC watchers. The next year is going to be "interesting" .... if they don't call an early election .... but what would they use for an excuse for that .... trade? security? .... ethics violations ... another Lieberal in the last couple weeks on that one but not something good for them. :-)
