Cambridge Canadian Tire has guns
I was in there today (Dundas and Franklin) and they have quite a few guns, some of the prices were good too...
I was speaking to the owner and manager today, seems they are going to have a grand opening sale in April...
I am hoping they get some reloading supplies too...It looks pretty cool.

Has too much time on their hands
Nice to see. We have two locations here in Peterborough. One carries firearms, the other one doesn't. Looks like a nice display there.

Kingston has a CT store will a pretty good selection too. Decent prices. Some interesting calibres too.

There prices are high. They have a Remington 870 express in 12ga for $623. And Savage axis for $700 can't remember the caliber. That is an economy rifle. There guns are all roughly $200 to $250 over priced vs sail, bass pro and shooters choice

That is not good, they are suppose to have the lowest prices around. Maybe they haven't done that yet but when I was speaking to owner and manager, they assured me that they would have very competitive prices... I better be going in to talk to them
Hopefully they lower their ammo prices too.
I think they are going to have their "Grand Firearm/Sale" formal opening Mid April. Hopefully they have their pricing in-order by then.

Their corporate promise is clear..all you have to do is challenge them on their prices;
"Canadian Tire prides itself in offering our customers quality products at competitive prices and we stand behind our prices with our Price Match Guarantee. We will match any local competitor’s price on an identical item and give you an extra 10% of the lower price in Canadian Tire ‘Money’. This includes competitors’ sale prices. "

I just bought a remington 597 22lr. from Simcoe Canadian timre. It was listed for $359 but they price matched gobles and sold it to me for $244, and on top of that, they gave me an additional 10% ($24) on my CT Money card. I don't believe they'll match box store prices (Sail, Basspro)

Prices are all over the place.
A co-worker got a Savage Axis in 243 for like $175. He had a combination of an in store sale, a Savage Arms instant rebate, and a CT promotion of spend $200 get a $50 store voucher. Or something like that anyway. I cant remember the exact combination of things he did to get it.
The Huntsville store also had a sale on SKSs for like $120 a a couple years ago. I went to the store as soon as I heard but just missed them.
