Ain't that the truth.
Oh well, we can only do what we can do.

Sorry to ask for this guys, but could someone summarize what you guys are doing? I seem to remember that this started out as basically a potluck or something, but now it seems like it is more like our semi-regular eastern Ontario OOD members breakfast get together. I didn't think I would be able to make it to this one, but it looks like I might be able to, but I don't want to look through 10 pages of posts to find out what is going on. What I know is that it involves the show at the Grenville fish and game club.

The original idea brought forward by Odmott was a turkey hunt and this would be the prepartory stage to meet each other and buy, sell or trade some Turkey hunting equipment and give newbies some information. Then on another date maybe around Kemptville we all me to go Turkey hunting.
So over time it kinda morphed into a breakfast to meet at the Gun day at Grenville Fishing and game club April 1.

What GreatWhite said rf2.
There had been a number of posters planning to start turkey hunting this year with the changes in licensing, who didn't really know where to start or what to buy.
Figured a meet up could help them out, and save them a few $$$ if guys had used goods to sell.
A few weeks later, it seems the newbs have all the gear and knowledge they need and they aren't so keen to join us. Lol
Oh well, I'm looking forward to it.

Maybe they saw line052's Facebook pic of him in a speedo and they're afraid he'll show up wearing it.
Thank God we're getting another dump of snow and he'll be forced to cover up a little longer!
