Yeah he wanted to shoot just the handguns. He said we have lot's of rifles at home but only one 22 sig handgun. Later this year I'll be buying a Torakev

Yeah it was nice to finally put some faces to names. And that was a good little show.
Found some good deals myself, I was surprised. One guy had flextone calls for 1/2 what Cabela's is charging.
We ended up skipping breakfast and beelining for That Hunting Store in Richmond to check out their sale and found some great deals on a couple key items too.

I was there from 10 to about 12. I didn't recognize anyone at the breakfast spot (other than Fox's wife and baby), so I spent my time looking at the guns. There were a couple of deals, but nothing that I really wanted that badly. I saw Fox at the rifle range but it was pretty busy, so I didn't stop to chat. GW, there were some .375 projectiles at one of the tables, I'm surprised you didn't pick them up. Sorry I missed the rest of you guys. Maybe next time!
Yeah I say those I think 255 grain or were they 235 but they were not flatnose so you could only load 2 at a time. But I have found some more 375 Win. I bought some 270 bullets from the same guy. I so MikePal, Fox and Otto and his brother. I let my son do some shooting. I'm hoping I can find a weekend to take hime down there to shoot our guns.

My wife said she saw someone but remembering names is not easy, she said "one of the guys from the Kemptville breakfast", ha ha. The range was busy, we went through 2480 shots in the first day alone, a lot of new people who had never shot before, really fun getting new people out there.
Other than the funds raised for the clubs activities, that is the second best reason for holding that kind of day...introduce future gun owners and hunters to shooting in a safe and fun environment. Kudos to the Grenville Rod and Gun and it's members for holding the event!!
We do not really make much, they buy a gun to raffle off as a door prize and about 1/3 of the ammo was purchased. The point of the shoot is to bring people who may normally be scared of guns out and have them realize that with the proper training they are very safe and very fun to shoot.
Speaking of raffle...there was NO message on my machine..did you pick it for me ? ..LOL...
