Hopefully Brown is smarter than the last two, Hudak and Tory!!!!! Both were guaranteed a win until they opened their mouths !!

Sorry for being obvious, but I thought Jerry Ouellette was a fine minister for the Mnr. I believe he was the last conservitive to hold the position. Jerry Ouelette is an avid Angler and hunter, who has owned hunting dogs one actually a beagle.

I predict she will be gone before the next election. I think the Liberals will switch leaders like last time to make people think things will change. They will try to pick someone popular and the media will rally and sadly, Toronto will re elect them.

It's not a matter of my confidence. It's a matter of Wynne's raw unpopularity. Her approval rating is at 12%, which is the second lowest approval rating any Premier of any province has ever had. Her own party is sharpening its knives for her.

Agreed. She will likely resign within the next 6 months and the party will pick a leader or have a quick convention to choose a new leader . They don't have much time before the next election and I guarantee the Liberals don't want her to lead them in the next election.

Probably won't make a difference. The pattern with fresh leaders brought in to replace unpopular leaders is not good. Federally: John Turner and Kim Campbell spring to mind ... Paul Martin only limped along as long as he did because people didn't trust the alternative. Politicians have best before dates even when at the best of times, and Wynne is not governing at the best of times.

Though we're now well off the topic of whether the Minister is qualified.

Getting back to that topic, enacting regulations is the Minister's responsibility. The fiasco with the small games regs may be attributable to the Minister dropping the ball.

I wouldn't sing ding dong the witch is dead yet.

There is no arguement that Hudak shot himself in the foot, however what was he to do? The undeniable truth of the matter is the Liberals have Unions campaigning for them and 3rd party Union shells running attack ads (Working families). She/they also have a stranglehold on TO and lots of the GTA. Cons winning ridings in there is always big news. Doesnt matter what he said, did or campaigned on that is one heck of a wall to punch through.

Fine, he says nothing or little about PS. Lol are we all so naive that the liberals still wouldnt have run ads with hudak laughing while a hospital ER blows up in the background? Are we all so naive as to think they wouldnt have pounded the ghost of Mike Harris and secret agendas (no differently than Harper was always attacked for having secret agendas).....

    Polls today.
Here's a shock for people. While her personal popularity is abysma the 12-14% so often quoted, all that says is everyone hates her....they may still vote redl. Theres little indication the cons will make inroads into the 416 and the 905 while having woken up some is still not that wide a margin. Something like 40/30.

    For us?
Isnt it funny how everyone wants to save the planet, but the mnr and moe budget is less than 1% combined. If people actually cared, politicians would care because that means votes.

I dont care if its Teddy R at the helm and Jim Shocky is his deputy. 65mm from the SPA and what table crumbs they get. You cant squeeze blood from stone nor do the impossible and no doubt people would still blame both of them for Moose, Deer, Asian Carp, Walleye, and long list of other things.

Brown seems more like a Red Tory the same as John Tory. I didn't like Tory and I don't like Brown. Sure wish Lisa had one the leadership.

never underestimate the PC's ability to shoot themselves in the foot during a campaign. And as crooked as Wynne is she is a great campaigner. Although why the Liberal party haven't pulled out the swords yet is definitely confusing.
I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.
