Predated nest
While scouting today I came across a nest with three destroyed egss and unfortunately a destroyed hen. Looked like she'd nested under a downed haw tree along the very edge of a field. Great cover but it limited her escape options and the predator took advantage of her poor decision. I'm assuming a coyote but I have no evidence. It's tough being a hen turkey!

Farmers won't mind. Turkeys can do plenty of damage to their fields. Could have been a fisher too I guess. Certainly capable.
Cheers
