    While scouting today I came across a nest with three destroyed egss and unfortunately a destroyed hen. Looked like she'd nested under a downed haw tree along the very edge of a field. Great cover but it limited her escape options and the predator took advantage of her poor decision. I'm assuming a coyote but I have no evidence. It's tough being a hen turkey!

    That sucks but its all part of nature. Even though we don't like it

    Farmers won't mind. Turkeys can do plenty of damage to their fields. Could have been a fisher too I guess. Certainly capable.
