When I was in my 1st year of university I remember feeling disappointed when my schedule would not allow me to get into John Theberge's class. By my final year I was glad to have luckily dodged that social engineering bullet.

His disciples are still spreading the WORD every summer at wolf talks all over Algonquin Park. While I've enjoyed the sessions, I also realize there is a not so romantic aspect to wolf ecology. I hunt and fish but most of the attendees have no bush sense at all. They don't understand you can't manage one species ( the mooose and deer) without managing the predators of those prey.
