Good Selection Sparky. I have had great luck On Algonquin Brookies with 3-4 inch Rapala husky jerks and fish them like you would for smallies. jerk and twitch pause ,ect. They cant seem to resist it ,Another favorite is the #3 bronze Mepps as I can fish it fairly deep using a slow retrieve or fish it shallow depending on the mood of the fish.

Never tried a Mepps spinner before but what you say makes sense going to have to try one !!!!

Has too much time on their hands
I use a lot of meps for brown trout so I am sure Brookes would love then as well.

Trusty EGB for me for the bigger specks in the Park, son and I both caught ours on the Silver with Red dots . I also think any lure you use should have the Red Plastic imitation fish tale attached, really do think it makes a difference with Brookies.
