Took advantage of a quiet afternoon at the range yesterday. Started with the TC smokeless conversion and dialled in at 50 yards in three shots then just skipped to the 300 yard gong and proceeded to knock it off its perch with out missing.
Started out playing at the 300 yard with the precision model 12 and at the 100 with the TC and Savage 11.
I was permitted to keep the original barrel that came for the precision build that had choked parts of the barrel. I worked those tight spots to try to lap them. It seems to have helped with hours of work and with cup and core bullets will now shoot MOA. I bought a Savage model 11 and bolted on the barrel so its a cheap back up gun.
The precision rig shot the smallest group I've ever done with an ML and matches my CF smallest group. I would have had two such groups if I hadn't pulled the last shot on second group and I knew I did it as soon as I pulled the trigger. I am almost ready to stretch its legs further.
In all very happy with the progress.

Just realized I made a mistake on the XTP Savage 11 group. Those were actually 300 grain XTP. Grabbed the wrong box from the bench!
I am annoyed because I wanted a test of those bullets plus my light load test was horse crap. Tried light load of 4759 and got 1920 fps but was hoping for 2200 feet per second. Will have to try this again and maybe I'll find success.
I will say kick was very minimal like maybe 223 type recoil....
