Question on catching minnows
A lot of time we go for perch but the boat docks are out of minnows. .we're can I find the rules on catching my own minnows. Net size limits and such.

I think what you are looking for is under the Ontario Fishery Regulations (http://laws-lois.justice.gc.ca/eng/r...237/index.html). Under these regulations, any angling which is not commerical is defined as sport fishing and in section 35, it has a regulation about sport fishing by other means than angling. It has net sizes, etc. Hopefully this might answer your question. I suggest you confirm with a CO though.

If you can track down a copy of the Fishing Regulations Summary everything you need to know is in there. Just go to the index and look under Bait. (page 10 in the 2016 summary).
