    Default 14' Aluminum Boat

Looking for suggestions on a 14' tinner for a friend on our lake. { Kasshbog lake} this boat will never leave the lake but know he is looking for something sturdy. He had one but the seats where fairly high and he felt it was very tippy. should mention he probably weighs in around the 240-250 mark
I have a 14' Sea Nymph which is good and sturdy but wanted to get some other opinions. guessing he is looking at spending under $2,000. Thanks and have a Safe and Great Long Weekend.

How about a 14' Jon boat. They're low in the water with stability galore, even for a big guy.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Symmetre, funny you say that as the other boat I have is the SF 14 Starcraft and a great Boat. we took it on the early White Lake trips 2009-2012 and it held it's own in 4 and 5 foot waves.

Nadens are big heavy slugs that take a good load. Definitely not made for portaging .

For a 14 foot boat, a starcraft SF14 with a 20 inch transom is about as good as it gets. Mine was a great boat!

The time to buy is now! Fall see's some great savings, however, the economy right now has used boats selling for record highs. Just keep an eye on Kijiji and call up all your dealerships and have them keep you on their radar for trade ins going on end-of-season!
