It is an extension of the Roman expansion, not just the white man but rather the one in power at the time in that location. Look back at the oppression of the Chinese by the Japanese, the European dictators, the British influence in the middle east, the Spanish expansion into the new world and the destruction of the native peoples there. In the US the rich white people get all the breaks, in Canada that is also mostly the case. Go out and ask a black man in the US if they have ever been afraid of the police, not talking gang banger but well educated middle to upper class American. Do the same for a white person of similar status and see how your answers work out.

I talked to some non-white friends of mine from the East coast, there was a discussion about racism at their school and one white girl told the class that "There is no racism in Canada", she was promptly shot down by a non-white male with this simple response "You think that because you are white".

I really do not care what you think about it, look at the numbers. When doing so also look at the numbers for crimes in Religious based societies and secular based societies, the answer or morality may astound you.

That being said I know that you will not look up that data or read any of the studies, that is fine, that is your choice, your free will.

The universe works in mysterious ways, and none of them involve a deity.

Back in the day your kind would have sacrificed a couple of virgins and a goat. How did that work out?

"Equal Justice Under Law". That is what, at least in the US, the US law is about. The presumption of innocence(although that is skewed by the media too, at times) and equal justice by a jury of your peers.(and that too is misused OJ and Casey Anthony come to mind).

On your comment about race, 65 years of AFFIRMATIVE ACTION is reduced to Black Lives Matter and Michael Brown. Pretty tragic I'd say.
On the Black/Police comment, look(I know you won't) at the crime rates vs proportion in that total population. That is why you see resources placed where they are and why those citizens have more interactive exposure.

In an imperfect world(which we live in) there will be instances of injustice when looking at the totality. That doesn't make the system rotten.
PEOPLE decided to find OJ and Casey not guilty. The system did what it could and then we must decide if it was just based on each individual's "principled responsibilities", not propaganda and emotion.

Don't confuse morality and religion. One can have some form of morality and no religion, yet one cannot really have religion without morality.

For religious folk, belief and faith is simply a contract to guarantee everlasting life, being moral on its own isn't.

Back in your day your kind would force them to all to marry and force a third party to bake them a wedding cake.

    In YOUR view .....

"Science brings men nearer to God." - Louis Pasteur

Dr Robert Kaita (Principal Research Physicist, Princeton Plasma Lab.) "One needs the Bible to understand science and science to understand the Bible"

"Science can purify religion from error and superstition. Religion can purify science from idolatry and false absolutes" - Pope John Paul II

"If I had no other data than the early chapters of Genesis, some of the Psalms and other passages of Scripture, I would have arrived at essentially the same picture of the origin of the universe, as is indicated by the scientific data." Nobel Prize-winning physicist Arno Penzias (Big Bang Theorist)

" Many people have a very outdated picture of what science tells us about the world. " John Polkinghorne (Quantum Physicist and after retirement he became a Christian priest)

Or how about the head of the human gnome project.

I won't get into my testimony but in the end those willing to actually look with an open mind I find in the testimonies of men lik C.S. Lewis, Josh McDowell (he tried to prove atheism for two years and ended up a Christian), Malcolm Muggridge and or maybe Alister McGrath who Francis Collins has written about his writings.

But I think this sums it up, especially in the universe, DNA and cell complexity, protein synthesis etc in one statement ...

"There is no incompatibility between science and religion... Science shows that God exists." - Prof. Derek Barton, Nobel Prize Chemistry

.... and that is a surprise how? From Adam to King David to the apostle Paul we see human's failures and their redemption.

VERY, for my view on that I essentially defer to the post above with Diamond and Silk ... with much more gusto than I could create :-)

One last quote, as it is futile. If religious people could be reasoned with, there would be no religious people.

Ok, I'll play... and if there were less unreligious people there would be no need for a lot of things we have in place.
