Has too much time on their hands
I go directly to the states to get the Seresto collar at PetSmart or K9 Advantix II at TSC in the U.S as well. No prescription required.

I've made an interesting observation regarding fleas this summer. Both our miniature Dachshunds usually get heartworm treatment that contains flea control. This year they didn't get that prescription, and we have noticed scratching and found fleas on them that we never have in the past. It would appear that the flea control offered in the heartworm medication does deter fleas.

Your posts got me wondering so I did a little Google .
Apparently some heartworm products do kill fleas.

** May I ask why you didn't give heartworm prevention this year?

I just tried BRAVECTO, I am going to stick with it. Good for 3mts. Fleas were gone off both dogs in about 4-5 hrs. Lot of ticks here north of Cobourg they still get on dogs but it seems to kill them shortly after being bitten

I'd use Bravecto but it much more money than Nexgard, and the only difference is monthly dose or every 3 month dose.
