Years ago I shot a bear that had a 177 pellet under his hide. Back then there wasn't the high powered air rifles like now. Someone must have been really close when they shot it.

OK, pellet from an air rifle / air pistol.
Likely crummy behavior from some kids....

BB guns are different from a pellet gun. Pellets are skirted, BB's are round.
