We have the luxury of a propane cook stove so we can put meals in on a timer to cook while we are hunting.
Chicken and dumplings, roasted wild turkey from the spring harvest, roasted chicken, venison hamburger helper and BBQ vension and beef steaks are the norm

I often make a freshwater fish chowder. Most of our meals are made out of wild game & birds as well. I always look forward to the camp meals. You folks are really making me hungry!!!!

Sounds like some camps are going to be eating some wonderful meals. As well we always eat great at camp !
Tried to make a Chicken Paprikash tonight for dinner, a test for a meal I thought of making for moose camp. Didnt turn out so well, while it was alright it wasn't AMAZING. Wondering if anyone has a favourite Paprikash recipe they would like to share. If not than I will most likely turn to a tried and true moose pot roast.
