The Lund Fury line with Side Console is what I am looking right now for spring. My brother has the 14 ft model with rod lockers and decks. Great boat with a 30hp, it went 26 MPH on water the with all duck gear. When 3 got in it, cut the performance by half.

We have a pontoon boat that came with a 60hp (22ft) long. Wish we would upgraded the motor we have now (115hp), when we bought the boat originally. Like others have said, buy the biggest motor you can afford and rated for the boat.

I will be getting the Lund Fury, 14ft with a 40-50HP, side console next spring. One unique features of that boat style is the high wave gunnel on sides of boat, kept the splashing down very well.
