I spoke to our people at Dogtra and they confirmed 100% that the Pathfinder is NOT approved for Canada as it uses MURS (same as Garmin) They said that there is some misunderstanding about a product Dogtra was going to release several years back that ran off of bluetooth. Although the Pathfinder does use bluetooth it also uses MURS which is the kicker here. Any Pathfinder owners in Canada will have a hard time getting them serviced or repaired just like Garmin unless they have a US address i suppose. Just wanted to clear this up as we were confused on this matter also.

I have subsequently found out that the current Dogtra System that is being sold is not approved for sale in Canada. It operates in the same radio frequency as the Garmins. (MURS).
The information I got from industry Canada is for another system that Dogtra had approved by Industry Canada in 2014, it operated in a different frequency. Here is the approval I relied on . Sorry about the confusion
