Default "May" contain lead? - Call lanyard

Finally spent some of my built up collection of Bass Pro gift cards. Thought I would give one of these call lanyard thingamajigs a shot. (The decoy string alternative was working fine... I guess. Despite the constant tangling.)

I know its made in the US. Why would that lead warning be there?

Anyway! Do you folks use these? Favourites? Suggestions? Results?

    Anyway!!

As a side topic since you're here.
Back at it tomorrow. Real short trip since my hunting partner is out with the family in the afternoon. Hopefully they're flying when the legal whistle blows. Make the most of it.

I have used braided parachute cord lanyards for many years. Most of mine were made by a guy on one of the US forums.

California has some far reaching lead requirements.

I think it is California proposition 43 or something like that. there must be a bit of lead in the swivels and state law says that has to be stated on the packaging.
LOL that has to be better than the decoy cord!
