I'm 82a as well and I've seen nothing. Congratulations on a great eater!

Thanks everyone. I inherited that 94 a couple of years ago from a family friend. It’s got no bluing left, it’s chambered in 32 special. This is the first deer I ever harvested with it.
As for my spot in 82a, I’m actually surprised at the lack of activity. Trying to help fill my dads tag has been difficult. I would have expected all the bucks to be chasing the does like crazy, but I haven’t seen any evidence of this. I’m not sure what to make of it.

I've only lived here for 3 years but the locals tell me the 2013 winter was very hard on the deer herd. I suspect there's no activity because there's no deer in the area. Lots of coyotes though! Holy crap I can hear 3 packs from one location I'm hunting. I have nothing against coyotes specifically but I think a thinning needs to occur.

He's at my camp - private.
The wilderness is not a stadium where I satisfy my ambition to achieve, it is the cathedral where I worship.

Went from seeing 17 deer during October. And not 1 deer this week at all. Seeing fresh tracks so I'm assuming their moving in the middle of the night. Been a stressful week.

Hunt 82A , saw a doe and fawn Monday, they seem to be out at night. I think population is away down. First buck scrape was last week. Think might be a spike , by the tracks. They moved on the snow last night, after the storm. I Don't shoot does , leave her to build up the population again . old243
