We also hunted 82A. Eight guys in camp and we did not see a single deer. We did morning and night watches and pushed a few bushes and nothing. Very few shots and very few fresh tracks. I guess the population is WAY down. We'll see if we can get one during muzzleloader season, Very disappointing.

I hunted 82A last week and was successful opening morning. Saw a nice doe out about 350 yards but that's out of my comfortable hunting range and wasn't long and I had a buck come walk in to 20 yards behind my blind. I was able to get a clean shot on him about 7:45am Monday morning. I heard a number of shots in the morning, so definitely some success in the area. I then switched to WMU 80 for coyote, and had another buck walk 15 yards behind my blind, but already had my tag filled but always good to see deer out moving. I'm hunting private property in both WMU's and hunt solo. Happy Hunting.
