lead bullets don't usually perform well with speeds over 2300 fps. if you're planning on using them with your savage.

Just a heads up. I wanted some clarification about Canadian orders, so I contacted PR Bullet. Canadian orders get 15% off, but, are billed in US dollars and don't get free shipping. The shipping is reduced though, by an equivalent of what typical US shipping would be. Apparently, the shipping costs within Canada through Canada Post makes it cost prohibitive to offer for free.

Just amended my earlier post (#4) regarding shipping costs. Got another email reply from PR Bullet about it.

Not to worry, PR bullet developed bullets specifically for the Savage...
Higher velocities and a quicker twist inside the barrel (1:24" versus 1:28") allowed us to develop a 260 gr. .40 Dead Center specifically for use in the Savage. Of my two 10ML-II, one shoots the very best using the 260 gr. Dead Center .40 while the other one shoots the very best with the 195 Duplex .357 Dead Center.

That's strange, the last order I made with them I got the discount and free shipping to my Mail box at the end of the lane way. The bill was quoted from the web site (US funds) but I was billed in $ CDN on my credit card . Great Deal...maybe that has changed now.
I guess it's now cheaper to order and have it shipped free to my US P.O. Box

Last time I ordered was a couple years ago and I was billed in $CDN too. But the wording for the current sale had me questioning if that was still the case, that's why I contacted them. As for the shipping, Cecil Epp (the owner) referred to Canada Post as crooks. That's why Canadian shipping is not free, but at a reduced rate. I'm guessing that they have a cheaper source for shipping US orders.
If you happen to place an order, which you have to do by phone if within Canada, please confirm if this is the case. I received my info from them via email.
