Look at the expansion of Christianity throughout the world, this was not done by simply saying "Hey, this one is better"

It is stupid that they fight over the same God but it is just exactly that, the same God. It is the identical lineage, it is not like saying a Chevette vs a Camero, it is like saying a Blue Camero vs a Green Camero, it is the same freaking car, just like it is the same God, they are fighting because one says green is a better colour than blue. This is why organized religion is evil. Believe what you want but using religion as a way to justify the destruction of people that do not believe that religion is asinine. What the Israelis are doing is wrong, what the Palestinians are doing is wrong, what the American south is doing is wrong, it is all wrong. Believe in a magical fairy in the sky, I could care less, bomb your neighbour or drive them out of their homes because they think that fairy has a crown and you do not.
If you honestly believe that then there is no point discussing it more.... have a good day.

Trump was treated well and given good nick names in China while we see our idiot PM called little potato..... the world has seen him fire cruise missiles at Assad and actually put a line unlike Obama and mr potato head. If you read Aljazeera the reactions in the Middle East are much more subdued than the insanity the left has been putting out... seems left hates Israel more than many of the Arab kings.

As a Christian I feel blessed - because I have a reason why I am here - I have reason to hope for the future - I have hope after I am dead - for those who don't have this blessing I feel sorrow for you - you are here by accident and don't have any worthwhile reason why your here and when you die you think that is it - you may be in for a big surprise - when you look at Christianity you shouldn't look at what was done in the name of Christianity - look at the teaching of Jesus - judge Christianity on that basis - you don't judge MIT by the students that flunk out - If everyone followed what Jesus taught this would be a wonderful world to live in - to me my faith is the most important thing to me - without it this life is just a waste of time - when I lay on my death bed I have something beautiful to look towards - what have you to look towards - and if you are right and I am wrong - so what - but if I am right and you are wrong - ouch

WATCH: RIDICULOUS: State Department Still Refuses To Recognize Jerusalem Is Even In Israel

In an incredible display of the State Department’s continuing decades-long hostility toward the State of Israel, spokesmen for the department demonstrated that they are not willing to give up the ghost of their anti-Israel actions on Friday, as they defied the implications of President Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem and would not affirm that even though Trump recognized Jerusalem as Israel’s capital, Jerusalem was in Israel.

The State Department, in its hatred for Israel, will not list on US passports that Jerusalem is in the State of Israel. As Daily Wire Editor-in-Chief Ben Shapiro pointed out on Fox News, his niece was born in Jerusalem; her passport only says Jerusalem, and does not mention Israel.

Religion has been the bane of mankind for as long as can be remembered. Hundreds of millions have died because conflicting religious beliefs, and it isn't going to end any time soon. I don't really care what religion you follow, if any, as long as you don't use agression against others because of different beliefs. Religion is supposed to promote peace, acceptance and understanding, yet it is so ironic that so called religious followers kill because of differing religious views.

The last part is essentially Pascal's Wager, he was a physicist and mathematician in France, (**See Comment) he was famous for his intellect and there some math and even a computer language named after him. There was much more to his wager though, I will shorten and paraphrase since I just got home from work and I can feel the Maple Crown Whiskey starting to warm me inside (I finished Ashkelon Brandy** Note 2). The Christian actually wins far more being wrong than is usually portrayed, a true follower of Jesus has tried to make the world better and treat others with love, the Christian family includes every race, age and both sexes so a brother or sister is there. Like any family you may fight sometimes but in the end they are still family. So it a win huge and win for the Christian right or wrong, but the unbeliever right and wrong are zero and huge loss.

In the end the loss for the Christian means you put your faith in and love into nothing ..... BUT you also put your faith and love into that extended family and receive same back, still winning! In the end it takes an open mind and heart to look and make that decision but just look at the impact of those that have, C.S. Lewis, Alister McGrath, Lee Strobel, Josh McDowell and Malcolm Muggridge, a few examples of ex-atheists and even Nabeel Quereshi an ex-Muslim, they are all known for speaking their faith and there are so many unknown and some less well known are the brother of Christopher Hitchens, Peter.

**Note if you ever go to Paris, skip the Parthenon, the is a small old church near it you should go to, much more interesting architecture in my view and it has a plaque to Blaise Pascal in it. :-)

** Note 2 Israel has some nice wine and the brandy I mentioned is good (final sips were left) but the Sabra Chocolate Orange liquor .... :-) I gotta get more of that!

Where did you get that silly idea??? You obviously have never looked, religion is man's attempt to influence the supernatural and we see Aztecs and Mayan's cutting men's still beating hearts out, Pheonicians and Cartheginians sacrificed children, Celts, early Germanic tribes etc etc. all sacrificed humans and many more. Hindu has the caste system and even looking at the Qu'ran and the Hadith I would say they promote an elitism and promote genocide against Jews and unbelievers. Buddism is about separating yourself from desires and needs, and I could go on and on. I would even argue that atheism could be considered a religion on the loosest definition and we see an escapism and elitism in many there and 100,000,000+ killed in the 20th century alone ... but I will leave it with one quote and the suggestion to read some of the writings of those I just mentioned above and for you to learn IF you want to.

"Jesus has exercised so deep an influence that it may be truly said that the simple record of three short years of active life has done more to regenerate and soften mankind than all the disquisitions of philosophers and all the exhortations of moralists. This has indeed been the wellspring of whatever is best and purest in the Christian life." historian and skeptic William Lecky

Well, just off the top of my head I can think of a few instances in modern times.
    - the Muslim, Hindu, Sikh groups battling in the Pakistan/India area
    - Nazi Germany trying to eliminate Judaism
    - Irish catholics battling Irish protestants
    - Muslim, Orthadox, and Catholic groups killing each other in the former Yugoslavia
    - the never ending turmoil in the mideast between Jews and Muslims
