It's hearing about the slim pickings in December that make me glad that I hunted in the November season. Although there have been times when the first hunt was unproductive, and everyone in the late season seemed to get a deer.
This Dec. seems to be a tough one for the hunt.
I took my deer to the butchers yesterday, they normally would have a few deer there taken in by hunters, but mine was the only one there, I guess I was lucky to an extent.

I've been out 5 out of 6 evenings and one morning. NOthing but tracks and they're so snowed in it would appear the deer are moving only at night. I had 5 standing on my lawn the other night according to tracks. They've snuggled up to the 5 houses on our concession and I'm assuming it's because of constant coyote problems.

M/L season is done in our area, tonight. Coyote starts first thing Monday morning.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

I'm in WMU 72 where there's no Sunday gun hunting in most of our townships.

Thanks for the answer, that's a bummer for those that would like to hunt Sundays, I live where there is no Sunday hunting , but 470 yards west of me it is allowed , but I am not a Sunday hunter, I can always find something else to do.
