    Default Ozonics

I’m considering buying an ozonics. But with how much they cost I’m weighing the pros and cons of them to see if they will truly be a benefit to a hunter or just another gimic to suck our hard earned dollars out of our pockets!! I know all the people on tv shows are paid to say they work so buy or products!!! So please feel free to share your opinions and thoughts and any relevant comments. Thanks.

I have no experience with them, but have done reading on them from unbiased sources and I've decided not to waste my money on one. Guys that have them have mentioned they still need to "play the wind". If that's the case, I do that for free anyway. Just my opinion on the reading I've done and I started reading with optimism that this could be a great device.

I've used one for 5 seasons now and I know without a doubt that it works
yes I still play the wind but in marginal situations I've seen countless deer come in from downwind

    Smitty Shhh!

I was very, very, successful for many, many, years without it.

but I'm more successful with it. I still hunt like I always have. playing the wind and we all should.

There are times when my best laid plans just don't seem to happen and the ozone gives me that added edge.

I've seen it fail sometimes but I've seen it work more often.

The current sticker price in CN funds is a small mortgage.

Being a retired designer I have since designed and make and use my own ozone creators.

Mine are 4 oz lighter, and 50% smaller and put out 2x's more ozone.

I could definitely see the need for one especially in a pop up blind after having had pickled wieners and eggs washed down with beer the night before. However, this would be more for a health and safety reason....

Skeeter, do you have any posted plans/directions on making one? I'd be up for trying a DIY project.

Without a doubt it works. My only concern would be the safety of ozone to humans... not enough testing done IMO.
