Next is a camera that automatically shoots the deer if it measures up to the size you programed into the camera - or if put on manual mode you shoot it while at home watching what is happening on your computer -

Seems to just be a tablet with hunting specific programs installed. I can read my trail cam cards using a simple $7 card reader hooked to my phone, which also has gps ability. But, I'm sure there will be some that figure they gotta have it, when they most likely already have a phone or tablet that will do most of what this unit advertises.

I'm intrigued with the 'e-caller' capabilities so I don't have to buy a Foxpro for coyote hunting. Just an external wi-fi speaker (which Spypoint also sells.) I don't have a tablet or smart phone of any sort so might not be a bad idea to finally get something that is at least more usefull than just for checking e-mails.
I looked on Amazon and they sell for $150 US so that price at TSC is actually pretty good.

I didn't do any research on it before posting, perhaps I should have as the e-caller function is attractive. But as Delmer said there are cheaper ways, you can get a Bluetooth battery-powered speaker and broadcast via your smartphone too.

"Purist"? Should we go back to herding buffalo over cliffs and using spears?
I mean compared to that the guns we all use are about as advanced as the doohickey in the original post. I can never understand the sense of superiority some people get out of looking down on those who are making use of new technology. Hunting is about what the individual gets out of it. If this makes them happy, then I see no reason why anyone should look down upon them. Alternatively if ones sees fit to use a recurve bow, then I'd also 100% support them.

I'd love to learn about how to use my smartphone as an e caller. I presume just get some calls on mp3 format and use a standard player...
Where would one get the sound files?

more like a pragmatist
Since I don't own a smart phone or tablet already; this thingy has a Camera, GPS, game call function, SD card viewer for trail cam pics and I can put on the Kindle app so can read my books on it and it's more rugged than my Kindle to take out in the bush. .....so I'm thinking it's might serve a practical function for my outdoor actives.
I'm sure you could buy each 'function' separately like Delmer suggested, but then you have a pile electronics you have to carry in a bag with you and have to constantly charge or replace batteries in. This is nice to have it all in one device.
AND it will be free to me once I cash in the gift cards I have on hand...so a "no brainer" as the say.
