Grizzlybear hunting ban in B.C.
I think there is something wrong when studies in the province have shown an increase in the population as well as hunting having no negative impact on the grizzlies. The ban was implemented based mostly on a poll done with the public. 78% were in favor of an outright ban.
What's next a ban on whitetail Canada wide!!

last time I checked, they stopped 'trophy' hunts, local hunts were still allowed, but they were going to introduce some nonsense rules that the hunter can't take the hide..? not 100% sure, it is weird.
EDITED: I see they amended the trophy hunt ban. So it's going to be like the polar bear - the first nations will sell their 'rights to hunt' for nice big wads of greenbacks.
