Maybe I'm wrong but I have never heard of a place where you could hunt Turkey and Deer but not small game. Something doesn't sound right.

It does not say small game hunting is not allowed, what is said's is you can hunt Deer and Turkey. So I would call the regional forester or Conservation officer.
I hunt areas around here in Ottawa that are similar.

An email is good so you can have proof you spoke to someone but I would also make a phone call or go in person.

3 hours in the winter for a rabbit hunt is not really in the cards for me. Looking for something I can do on a weekend afternoon after the honey do list is done with the dog.

Drive 30 min west and ask all the farmers with bush, finding small game land to hunt is a heck of a lot easier than deer.
