Trophy Hunting on CNN this Sunday @ 9
Should be interesting, seen a small preview stating how hunting is keeping animals alive... I hope it shows things in our favour

The below statement could be true because it happens here in Canada too. How much of our hunting license fee goes to good use? I bet its lower than 3-5%...lol
And in Tanzania -- one of Africa's top sport-hunting destinations -- an estimated 3-5% of hunting revenues are actually shared with fringe communities, according to a report by Hassanali Thomas Sachedina of St. Anthony's College, University of Oxford.

Canadian native Dave Salmoni is the producer of this documentary, long story short he is against "trophy hunting" as it's not a long term way of sustainability for certain species that are endangered in Africa

I hope that you caught them talking about "hunters" and "shooters" right before that part, the canned hunt, they showed how bad some of those guys can be, I think that demonstrated the worst of what a canned hunt is. That being said, that guy spent a lot of money to pound his chest and drink a beer and without that money there would be no point in keeping those crocs around.

I saw a part of it last night and will watch the entire show asap.
The guy with the croc, small elephant, 2 dough head chicks with him etc. What a dork. A total azz. Deserves a slap down for representing hunters so terribly.
That footage with the small elephant moaning, crying was difficult to watch.

I thought it was pretty good but like most........................ didn't like the crocodile or the elephant kill much either...
Read this on another forum and sounds so true...
If it pays, it stays.... certainly makes sense

I think they did a reasonably honest and balanced job with this. They did an excellent job showing typical, completely useless animal rights rhetoric. That's always a good thing.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

I missed the show, tried looking on my android and online and can't seem to find a replay. Anyone know how to catch it now? Will CNN eventually put it on their site to watch?
