Steyr-Mannlicher-M 7x64
I recently came into possession of this Steyr-Mannlicher-M 7x64 firearm. It has a 20' barrel with full wood stock in very good to excellent condition...as I have no idea about this firearm, I was wondering what this would be worth...thanks...

Not much value in that gun.
Probably worth about $40 bucks.
Wanna sell it?
I know - I'm an idiot.
Sounds like a nice piece Mike.
I'm sure someone this site will have a good idea of its value. Do you have any idea of its manufacture date?
I assume it has original finish?
A picture? I like to learn about older guns.

Has too much time on their hands
OH NICE.... I'd go $200 ..... :-) I mean ammo is going to be real hard to get, I am actually surprised Remington makes some.
IF NO, I would normally insert jokes about where you live, grinders and hack saws and when you were going to be on vacation (think LOTS of envy) but I actually have a general idea where you are so let me say Congrats! Mind saying how and how much (in PM is OK)..... the calibre isn't a first choice of mine but that is a style and look I LOVE and that is sharp! I would make one change, see thru scope mounts.
IF the answer is Yes .... DON'T LOOK AT THIS LINK!!! Not the same but I would expect close to that.

thanks all for your input...going to have to get it appraised at a gun store and then decide if we are selling or it will be a safe queen for a bit....

Wow Mike. Gorgeous gun.
Love to hear how you came into it?

See through mounts on that gun would be a travesty. It appears to have a claw mount scope, not to mention horn trigger guard, set trigger, and Bavarian stock. It’s a unique beauty that will attract a small market of buyers similar to those who appreciate drillings and such. Nice gun in a good caliber.

A fellow that used to hunt coyotes with us has the identical rifle but cal. is .243.
Claw mounts yes, but the trigger guard is of the standard metal type , his son sent it to him when he was stationed in Germany back in the early 70's, his rifle was a deluxe model, the barrel had a faceted finish [spiraled flats] ground into it, very unique and an extremely high gloss bluing job.
