He is good friends with the family that runs the hunt camp I attend for the deer hunt. He stops in for a few hours to pop off a clip, and have a meal with the gang every year. I have met him a few times and he is a very nice man, I would vote for him.

I agree. Brown never "sold" publicly. If they can pick a woman leader maybe that would remove the "I don't support Brown" voting block? I know I know I'm reaching.......

Great article in the National Post, about this story and the court of public opinion. If true I'd have to agree with much of what's been said, if false what a terrible thing to happen to somebody.

And Andrea Horwath comes out with a war on men and the justice system.

    2186 Getting Ready To Puke

Listening to Brian tonight ... sounds like this has been coming for awhile... the women were 18, he was getting them drunk and he was ones boss ..... some are going to his protection but I really don't think he was fit and he was more red than blue in my opinion.

He talks about the coming up movie Chappaquiddick and in the mean time here .... the 5th Liberal goes bye bye.

He is right that it will get 10X the coverage and I think he underestimates it and it will get 100X the attack as

It might be the best thing that happen the CP.

Hopefully they pick a woman to replace him so no more sexual allegations and she will get the support of more women and it’s a much better bet to have a woman against a woman.
    .
And btw, I really hope the same type of allegation happen to M. Scheer. That guy sucks! It will not win an election. He has not what it takes to be elected now a day. You would think that he/they would have learn a few things from the US election but not, he is just waiting for the price to land on is lap. It’s 2018 buddy, wake up, it’s war!

I'm surprised that no one has mentioned this, yet, but, doesn't it concern anyone that with this unproven allegation, this man's career and very likely his public life are instantly over? Put yourselves in his position for a second and, let's face it,any one of us of a certain age could find ourselves in that situation. Think!

It is a huge issue! The "he did"/"he said" and innuendo can be huge, some of the Brown articles made it sound like they "girls" were alot younger even.

Personal advise to any younger guys, my Dad gave me some simple advise "if you can't see yourself married to them in 20 years don't go out with them" (married now over 20 years) and considering him and my mom... loved both, just not in the same house! Got it? In general I stuck to that and I can think of back in University I went out with one woman who was in a class I was teaching assistant for. We went out for a meal and her idea of "outdoors" was the walk to the mall from the car, we talked, laughed etc. but I saw no reason for a second date and there wasn't even a good night peck on the cheek. She came into the computer center where I was working and asked when we were going out again, I said we could go for a coffee or something but didn't think we should date.... she stood in the computer center screaming at me for atleast 5 minutes, and actually ranting about it being about the outdoors at one point then left.... I never saw her again BUT.... she was nuts, had real issues it seems and if she came and said I did or said "??????????????? imagination???????? " how would I defend myself? Any idea? Restaurant is long gone, staff would be retired, witnesses.... I would have no defense other than my word against hers and in the media which would get the spin and believed????? A bad date, a nut case, getting dumped.... the "he said", "she said" leaves no defense but opinion, but in this case it seems he already had a reputation and there were rumors and it sounds like evidence.

Innuendo and rumors aren't proof though, look at Justlied Trudeau.... strip events, women's only events and remember these...

Brown is a Conservative so the required evidence level is almost non existent (and they were probably diligently searching for it) and if he hadn't been ones boss and they were 19 or 20 instead of 18 (alcohol) it wouldn't matter except as an opinion he was a jerk piece. It should bother people on atleast some level but alot of people don't like thinking and that's what the media does for them so often. CBC and the media love to tell us what to think and some ideologically or mentally only believe that.

Aldous Huxley’s indictment, “Most of one’s life... is one prolonged effort to prevent thinking,”

I'm not a big fan of Sheer as well and hope that Pierre Poilievre would jump into the ring. He seems to have the brains and stamina to go up against the Liberal liars club.
