Default The Bear Man - Troy Hurtubise

I met this fella in Lindsay attending Sir Sanford Flemming College. Interesting fella to say the least. I remember when he was talking about building the suit. Can't remember for sure as I was a long time ago. But I believed he told his story on stage of his Grizzly Bear encounter. Anyways an interesting read.

Yeah he was a bit different. I don't think he ever completed the course. Seems to me part of the reason he enrolled was to get some sort of support from the College to fund his bear suit, but that never happened.

All raw inventors have many more "failures" than "success". And most/all are viewed by society as crackpots, sometime even after they have invented something truly remarkable. I'm not sure if Troy will achieve what he's looking for, but he's not harming anyone or scamming suckers for cash to live a life of luxury. Have at it.

I remember that NFB film. I guess the NP piece answers, "Whatever happened to?..."

I remember that as well, kind of a sad story, but to each their own.
I wonder how much the suit is worth at the hock shop, would be a cool halloween costume.
