I would probably be thinking how much anti bio tics or steroids has a vet pumped into this animal and how good would it be to eat?

I would shoot it without hesitation, how can anyone distinguish if its a pet or not. Regardless if its a pet or farmed hog, if they get out and cause damage to other farms the owner should be charged with a fine. Hogs are dangerous and invasive and we don't need them in Ontario. I don't feel bad for the family who lost there Hog, I feel bad for the guy who shot it and is getting harassed with nonsense .

I wished they would invade Ontario in huge numbers. From what I've seen on the tube, looks like hunting them could make for a great time in the outdoors

Im not saying it wouldn't be fun to have the opportunity to hunt them in Ontario but the outcome of crop damage would be a problem not welcomed by our farmers

I would not hesitate to shoot it. It would be a tasty pleasure. And I would not be the least concerned about the owners feelings. (I might ask him over for dinner). People who own one have a huge responsibility to keep them securely corralled. We Do Not need them in Canada. I would go so far as to say it should be illegal to own them.

If your fence will hold water, then it will hold pigs. Only thing I have ever seen a pig NEVER escape from is a freezer or Oven/BBQ.

So with that is mind own pet pigs at your own risk.
Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.

I hope all the farmers who give you permission to hunt sees your opinion on one of the worse pest to a farm, both their crops and livestock.

If they see your post you may just lose your hunting land.

Yep. If you ever saw what goes into hot dogs, you'd never have them in your house let alone eat one. Picture mashed up lips, foreskins and arseholes. Bon Apetite! There, now,I've got my Thermos, rifle and shells, goin' road runnin' for 'yotes. Catch you later.

If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....
