I think his mane point was that the deer is stil alive. Not looking for an answer to the knee or elbow whatever it is

Yes of course...would not want to allow anyone to expand on the conversation in a constructive and educational way.
The comment about the relevance of the joint being equal to a wrist and not a knee, with their generally different bone structures and function gives no insight to the fact the deer has continued to survive.
A little more knowledge about a deer's anatomy in no way would be a good thing to learn.
Take the warning labels off. Darwin will solve the problem.
