Front sight is in
Dovetail turned out great and sight tapped in nice and snug. Just a bit more filing to clean up the edges but that won't be done until just before I brown the barrel. Probably next year.............................Daniel146_3749.jpg146_3750.jpg

Since your last post I saw, I've looked back at your other posts of this build. I don't know much about muzzle loaders but I can sure appreciate the patience it takes to use hand tools for working metal. Nice fit on that dove tail. I'll be checking back on your future posts.

I hear that, do a bunch in a day or two then nothing for a year.
Working on 3+ years on 2 projects of mine, rewarding when I get to something done but it is taking a painfully long amount of time, ha ha.
