And you are taking fox as the definitive source, they do not have a great history of unbiased truth. Next you will be citing the NRA reports.

Source? I hear people claim Fox is fake news but never anything to back their claims. I agree they're biased towards the right but they don't report fake news, unless you can prove it.

Same old mantra! Guns dont kill people. People do.
Guns kill from a distance and thats where all their bravado comes from
If you take the availability of guns away from these guys most dont have the nerve or spine to get up close to their victims and look them in the while they stab or bash their brains in. And most dont have the know how to build a bomb. Once a shot is fired people scatter. Start swinging a bat and youll be tackled by a crowd of onlookers and that introduce you to the Newfy boxing gloves.

It might be the same old mantra, sawbill, but,it's still true. I agree that these are spineless pukes that pull that crap,but,bomb-making technology is a click of a mouse away on the internet. Cowardice is cowardice. If they couldn't get guns they can build IED's,drop them in a cafeteria or auditorium, walk away and be far away before it goes BOOM! Deal with mental illness, especially, where the intentions are known in advance like this incident. Local Police and the FBI knew about this clown over a year ago, still completely dropping the ball.
If a tree falls on your ex in the woods and nobody hears it,you should probably still get rid of your chainsaw. Just sayin'....

Unless there is a substantial increase in funding/manpower, police agencies will never have the resources dedicated to investigating each and every individual with mental issues. They've already seen kids with no known problems commit these shootings. And thats not even addressing the out of control murders that take place everyday on their streets.

If you really want to cry about public safety, you are aware that 36 people are killed every single day from DUI down south, yet nobody bats an eye, and nobody cares? There's no media coverage and why don't people care? I take it with your thinking it's the vehicals killing people, just like your theory how guns kill people. Your same old attack on guns is falling on deaf ears. For some people is easy to blame the easy way out than to deal with the real issue. Building a bomb is not rocket science, any kid could figure it out...

I guess you just dont get it. Im not blaming the gun. Im blaming the availability of them. And not everbody would be comfortable building a bomb even though the how-to is readily available. And with your analigy of dui deaths makes no sense. The guy who bangs back a few beers then jumps in his car has no intention of killing anyone.

Sawbill,
I cant believe I am saying this as I am very pro gun. But it’s getting out of hand in the states and something needs to be done. Not sure what it is though.
Our system is pretty damn good up here. Could be improved, but overall, I am pretty happy with it.
