    Default Searching for some steel

Went out yesturday in search for some steelhead, went down to the credit but rivers were high and cloudy so I decided to hit the mouth of the river. Water was clear but not much going on there. Have any of you guys had any luck there fishing the surf at this time of year or am I too early still ?. I enjoyed the sunrise regardless of the lack of no fish. The sunrises sideways there for some reason LOL

I have been on the eastern tribs for a couple of weeks now (4 visits),. More fish came up after that rain last week . Some ,but not many fish seen. I watched one get landed, but none by me. A friend of mine was catching lakers off an eastern pier last week.

Seems like the east tribs got some early steelhead in them. Buddy of mine yesterday caught one.

Must be March break. I went to a trib early this morning, there were 5 guys working the same 50 foot pool, turned around and came back home for a coffee.

Maybe so, but so far I have had the tribs to myself this week.

Take advantage of the solitude, when the winds die down everyone will be out.
