MNRF switching to plastic licenses!

Forget about printing your own paper licenses, the Ministry is going plastic!

I wouldn't have even known about this great new initiative if not for this brochure I found in the back of a used gun cabinet I just bought.
Get this... all our licenses will be in the form of small durable stickers on the back of magnetic card the size of a credit credit card. This sounds awesome! So convenient, no more multiple pieces of paper to carry around!
Man, I love our government, so clever those folks are!

LOL! The way things are going , it just may come to that .
It would sure make my wallet thinner without all the plastic we have to carry these days.

Plastic. Wow.. no more thermal paper that turns black well you sitting in the summer sun fishing. That would be great. Seems the MNRF is going backwards at times.

There are things you keep in the cooler..bait, drinks, lunch, snacks. But I never thought You would have to keep your fishing license in the cooler as well. Luckily I only have to deal with the stupid yellow paper for bear or wolf/coyote tags. Three year small game and fishing still comes printed on card.

There is a reason for that....the plastic doesn't break down as well as the paper in soup....LOL..
