With respect to firearm information being requested at time of sale, CFO’s have been known to arbitrarily change rules, depending on their interpretation. Whether this happens in Ontario, remains to be seen.

True, but as this winds through the legislative process, we'll see lots of pressure on this point. We may well see regulations added closing these holes.

I was not legal to own firearms yet but then again I was able to get them, crazy how the ban worked out for them back in 1995.

Your firearms licence can be suspended pending further investigation, as a result of some occurrences involving the police. You wouldn’t have immediate knowledge of the suspension. You and I both know that gun owners don,t just willy,nilly get their firearms licenses suspended there is generally a good reason,why spread all the paranoia .Shame on you.
