Going back the the title of the thread "World opinion of Canada and its leadership ....." I'm on my way back from two days in China and during this trip we had a dinner with our new Chinese partner . We talked mostly about business and China, the changes to come and what the people think about it, and very little about Canada but we did ask what he thought about our PM. He smiled/laughed and then said "Pretty" and that was all it had to say.

Sad, isn't it?!

Awww.... did I upset someone criticizing PM Socks ... or PM Peoplekind ... I forget what the different media are laughing at him about this week most .... I was just enjoying a nice Askelon Brandy and getting a chuckle at Canada's court jester... let's see the UK was "peoplekind" if I remember right and I know the Irish press and some the EU had a good laugh at PM socks....

For those that got a laugh and are enjoying relaxing, maybe reading the news (world, about Canada, archeological, defense... what ever) it is nice to have a relaxer and mine varies greatly, the High River and Crown Royal I would have to open and Askelon is one I like, it isn't as smooth as some but I like it. Sometimes the LCBO has shipping promotions and if you are willing to wait, have an idea what you like or are willing to experiment there are logs of varieties you won't see in the stores.

There was a time on these forums when discussions pertaining to religion and politics were swiftly shut down and infractions given. Maybe,it's time to get the big hammer out again. Mods,are you listening?

Eventually it will only be people who think alike, and shout down, ( lengthy , verbose posts), everyone else. I guess that is what they want, a segregated forum. Such a shame because it is only 2 or 3 guys trying to control the direction of the forum. If they were forbidden to speak about politics and religion they would go find someplace else to rant.
