any info on spring bear hunting in 18a wmu?nakina
im going on a fishing trip to nakina last week of may and i was going to get a bear tag and spend some time bear hunting....the outfitter of the camp im going to said O'sullivan lake outfitters has that area for their bear hunts(big area)i wont be baiting.....can i legally hunt there?

If its crown land i cant see why you cant hunt.

It is all crown land up there. Yes you can hunt.

I used to live up there. There was always snow in the bush on opening. The bears tended to hit baits when the leaves started coming out and the black flies were strong. About like everywhere else.

In fact we were lucky to have the ice out by 24th of May pickerel opener!!
