I've had a few Bushnell trophy 8mp cameras. They are at least 5 years old, use them every year, they must take 15000 pictures each, had one out all winter thos year It was taking pictures at -28, get a few thousands pictures on 8 AA batteries.
Have a few Uway, Moultrie and wild game cameras as well, they all sit in the hunting room because they are unreliable

Has too much time on their hands
I had two Moultries and one broke after two month and the other lasted a year or so.
I have 4 Bushnell, one over ten years, and three between 4 and 2 years and they are still all working very well.
I bought the last three thru Ebay in the States between 90 and 100USD.
