and I WOULD NOT trust those maps to be accurate. The range is probably much larger.

Now there seems to be no scientific evidence that B1 will work as a repellent but in the past when visiting my relatives in Minnesota I found that it helped for mosquitoes... think Roman Phalanx type numbers per person, even with 30% Deet you still looked like you were dancing the Macarana at dusk, with the B1 it was just a slower tempo. Anyway I was taking it (300 mg/morning and night) and my dad wasn't toward the end of the visit ( he was heading in the cottage well before dusk) .... how many cottages have a bug zapper INSIDE??? We went to visit another relative at their new cottage and got stuck in the pine sand, we walked the rest of the way in and I shortcut it across the meadow .... my Dad had 3 ticks on him and all had bit .... I lost count something over 75, they were the larger ticks not the tiny ones and yes it still makes me cringe but not one bit me the whole time there. Admitted they say there is no scientific evidence but there seems significant anecdotal evidence. I disagree with him on the DEET.

and then there are the body suits that are showing up.... anyone got one yet?

My daughter is currently taking an antibiotic for Lyme and so is one of my granddaughters - Lyme is really bad here in Pa. - I am always in the woods or fields around my place - knock on wood - haven't had Lyme yet - attribute this to the fact that I spray the clothes that I wear outside with permethrin - I have a set of clothes that I sprayed and whenever I go into the woods I put this set of clothes on - I hang the clothes in an enclosed patio when not wearing them -

Do you use the Sawyer spray, or another product? The stuff is nearly impossible to get here. We cross the border with it, but by the time you factor in duty, shipping and taxes, you're better off buying the pure stuff in bulk and diluting it.

Their prices are reasonably low for garments, and here is a hunting clothing company selling ElimiTick clothing as well(for the ones they want camo and tick protection at the same time)

No salesman for them and no Warranty from my end.....but i think both are good stuff.
Also it seems they both use similar technology and products to protect users from ticks ..............
