Default Anyone missing Christine Elliot yet?

At the start I fully expected that Ford was going to back up his sound-bites with an actual platform prepared by the smart people in the PC Party. Yet here we are; the shine has worn off and there doesn't appear to be anything under the hood.

    Yes indeed.

And I wish I had titled the other thread “and this is why we need a PC government”

Re: Ford vs Elliott - Ford *never* appeared to have anything under the hood.

It was really enjoyable during the Dion/Ignatieff years to see the federal liberals pick unelectable leaders.

It's not near so funny when its the provincial conservatives doing the same thing.
When you're picking a party leader, too many get caught up in the "who do I like most" and loose sight of the "who could win a general election".
And really, who you like most doesn't matter near as much as who could win an election.
There will be a lot of Ford supports who will have the guy they liked the most leading the opposition for the next four years while the NDP is running the province. Myself, even though I find myself more aligned with Ford than Elliott, would have rather had a PC run province with Elliott as leader.

Absolutely not .It's been easy for Horvath and Wynn to provide a platform that they will not come through on. This has been shown/proven so many times to screw over the taxpayer you and I SO MANY TIMES OVER. If people are stupid enough to vote NDP or Liberal well you know the rest. With Ford not revealing a platform I suspect he will have an awful Liberal mess to clean up and will spend the majority of the next 4 years uncovering the cover ups . People have no idea as to the magnitude of scandals that the Liberal government has created. The NDP will make even bigger promises than the Liberals, not follow through or worse follow through and bankrupt the Province. I think I'll take my chances with Doug Ford.

Ford Loses support every day. By Election Day I have no doubt we will have an NDP government. I doubt she will get a majority though. That could be a problem as the Dippers and Libs will work together. In fact I expect the Libs to agree with every bill. I am to the point of giving up on all this cr#p and everybody here knows I'm fanatical about this stuff. These damned conservatives have chosen unelectable leaders 3 times in a row. This party needs to be blown up and rebuilt from the ground up. Elliott won the popular support and would be our next Premier. It's not that I dislike Ford, I think his heart is in it and he's not doing it to fill his wallet but in my world if you can't produce you don't get the job.
The NDP is full of SJW's and activists, I think we are in for 4 years of hell just like BC. God help us.

I’m suspicious of people who don't like dogs, but I trust a dog who doesn't like a person.

I may have posted this somewhere in another thread, but,I'll put in here, again, anyway. I think it won't matter which party gets in because the damage is done, irreparably. Ontario is passed the point of no return.
