Default Electrical problems. 75 mercy outboard 2001

Hey gang. Got an apt with marina in two weeks.
    I have a new battery
There is Power to all accessory accessory lines. Such as wipers, sump, horn etc.
No power to key. Dead. No beep, or movement of battery power bar. The trim engage on the motor does not work either.
I checked all lines. Took apart controls. Still nothing.
The problem is either in the controls or the motor. Any thoughts?

The reason I said that is on my boat, behind the dash there was /is a fuse panel containing a few fuses, one of them being an ignition fuse .

I’ve checked under the steering panel. All the fuses appear to be for accessories. I’m not sure if there is a fuse on the motor? I’m stumped.

Maybe the switch itself isn't sending power to the engine. Check to see if you have power to the starter solenoid when you turn the key to the start position. I would use some alligator wire clips to bypass the ignition switch and go from there. Power must leave the key switch to engage the engine, so that is the first place I would start...
PS. I am pretty sure the motor has it's own fuse there too...see if you can locate that before bypassing the ignition switch. Send some pictures and more details as that would help, two weeks is a long time to wait for service, maybe we can make it happen sooner.
